Imran Ali is Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer of CARBON:Imagineering, a boutique digital R&D practice exploring and scouting the impact of emerging technologies. The company has specialised in storytelling platforms for live theatre, immersive platforms and grassroots communities as well as launching the Bradford Digital Arts Lab, a funding and mentoring programme for the city’s emerging digital artists. Imran was a cofounder of Impact Hub Bradford, a hub for social innovation and Chief Creative Officer for Celestic, an American startup providing connectivity for distressed communities.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and was named one of the top 100 Asians in Tech in 2023.
